I had one sleepy boy, but he was excited about running and he wanted a medal!!!
The rock on campus was painted for the event.
We saw Sparty!!!!!!!I pushed Andrew in a borrowed stroller for the 5K. Not a bad time for me....considering.
Then came the Kids' 1 Mile Run. Andrew got in position - a true racers' start.
He ran the first half mile and then walked and ran the rest. I was following him - he was ahead of me for some time!!!!!!!!!
He got his medal!!!!!!!!!!! and cold water and a special cookie.
