Happy Mothers' Day

We had a Mothers' Day dinner last evening. My sister is in town and brought my folks over for dinner and cherry dessert. Cherry Dessert is a Kuhlman family favorite - even John got to have a piece. My mom gets to read childrens' books whenever she comes. Andrew likes to climb up in her lap for stories.

This morning, Ashley, the kids and I went to Edgewood United Church - met my sister and dad. Also saw quite a few people I know.
Home for a good lunch and then a visit with Great Grandma Kuhlman. Andrew is NOT into being in a picture these days - he is hidden.

He liked the deck - kind of like a tree fort!!!!!!!!

The kids went outside and spent time rolling down the hill between the condos. Alexander and Allison are very good with their little brother.

The house is quiet now.........grass is mowed, sheets are on the line and I have to get ready for a full week of working.
It was really nice to have Ashley here for Mothers' Day............the best present she could give me.......her and her kids..........

My Mother's Day was interferred with by soccer games --- oh well, I remember well the days, when our kids were involved with sports. Wonderful pictures of the kids with their Grandma and Great Grandmothers!

Nice long phone calls from both boys. Caught up on their lives. Wish they were closer, but such is life. They have great careers and lives which makes us all happy.

Both girls were in town for a visit and they got along! Now, that was a great Mother's Day for me.

Great to see all your photos, Linda, and the happy faces. Tim and Rose made a wonderful brunch for Dusty and me after church. A huge fresh fruit plate that they will have most of the week!, cheese and crackers, three kinds of pancakes -- plain, chocolate (!) and blueberry -- sausage and bacon. Aren't families great! Daisy
