This week has been beautiful - hot and sunny every day..........and that means water to keep cool.
Allison has a friend at the Grand Ledge pool. She is very comfortable in the water with her swimmies on - but doesn't like to get water in her face. She did, however, jump off the edge with some other little girls - didn't want to be left out....and continued to do it after they were gone.
Alexander is part fish. He is not a strong swimmer, but goes off the board and spends a lot of time under the water. He dives for things from the bottom of the shallow end and loves going thru my legs. We've been to the pool twice.
Today we went to a splash park at Hawk Island Park - lots of water coming from many different angles. The kids spent most of the time in the little lake.......Allsion even put her face in a couple times......on her own, not just when I was spinning her around and dropping her!!! Alexander was a fish under water..........and we saw real fish, too!!
John grilled steak on the grill and we had a special request for broccoli with cheese.......both kids LOVE that. A good day.........
