I have just returned from Alpena where I did three storytimes, 2 for children and one for adults at the Alpena County Library. I stayed with the head librarian, Judi Stillion and found more in common with her than my own sister!!!
We enjoyed a quick visit to the National Marine Sanctuary and Underwater Preserve - go there if you are in town - dinner out, Nunsense, and fresh fruit and a kringle for breakfast before I left.
It was sunny Sunday morning so I had to check out the marina and boardwalk for a quick walk before the drive home.
