First I made 2 sets of aprons to go in the silent auction at the next quilt show. It all started because a friend wanted a pattern for a kid apron. Alexander and Allison have aprons that they use here for kitchen and art activities. I shared an apron with her to get the pattern and then I got started on my own.

A Day in my Sewing Room
I have enjoyed a day to myself - in my sewing room - being creative.
First I made 2 sets of aprons to go in the silent auction at the next quilt show. It all started because a friend wanted a pattern for a kid apron. Alexander and Allison have aprons that they use here for kitchen and art activities. I shared an apron with her to get the pattern and then I got started on my own.
On my design wall have been five houses I made from Laura Wasilewski fabrics and one house made in her fusing class last summer. I decided to put them together and call it Laura's Houses. It is ready for machine quilting.
I had a block left over from a block exchange - occasionally you get one that is an inch too small - and it just doesn't fit in the quilt. Now it is on the wall in the back hall.

Linda,
Definitely have to find time to be more creative too.
Love the pictures of the grandkids with your
parents!
