Last week the Storybook Quilt Lady spoke at the American Association of University Women meeting in Livonia. A nice group of ladies, but rain storms on the drive home - and I hate driving in the dark, rain and wind.
Next I spoke at the Friendship Ring Quilt Guild in New Era. Quilters are great people. I stayed for a couple days with my friend Pat on Lake Michigan. We had lunch on Friday in Whitehall with Leola and Alexander - a delightful garden behind the store - and great company!!!! I stopped for fresh asparagus on the way home and we have enjoyed it.
I forgot to take my camera with me.....and I saw beautiful sand dunes, swans, white caps on the lake, an inversion on the lake, tulips....all in my memories now.
So you get pictures from my yard.............from the laundry drying on the line to some flowers and of course, my garden. I have peas up, beans and tomatoes planted. I need to find some colored pepper plants.
